On 22nd October, we’re bringing Mystery Matchmaking to The Alchemist for an unforgettable night of cocktails, chemistry, and real connections.
We’re teaming up with Matchbox to turn a normal singles night into something much more interactive. Instead of relying on luck, you’ll complete a short matchmaking questionnaire when you arrive, and throughout the evening you’ll receive your most compatible match (or matches) in the room.
Set inside one of Portsmouth’s most iconic cocktail bars, expect theatrical drinks, a buzzing atmosphere, and a room full of singles who are all there for the same reason—to meet someone in real life.

Matching runs on a schedule, so please arrive on time.
7:00PM – Arrival 8:00PM – Questionnaire closes 8:15PM – Matches begin to drop 9:00PM – Final matches revealed After that, continue chatting with your match or meet other singles. 11:00PM – Event ends

General Admission Ticket 🎫 £15 Guests must arrive before 8PM for guaranteed entry and to take part in the matchmaking.
On-the-door Ticket 🚪 £30 Only purchase if advised by the host/event security. Entry is subject to capacity.
