After this dating concept went viral in Perth, we figured there was only one thing left to do…

Turns out, there are plenty of younger women who are into dating older — whether it’s the confidence, life experience, knowing what they want, or simply who they’re attracted to.
And there are certainly no shortage of older men who are happy to meet them 😉
So, for the first time in Brisbane, we’re bringing Older Men & Younger Women to Pawn & Co Fortitude Valley 😍
This event is specifically for men aged 40+ and women under 40 who are open to dating across the age divide. Age is just a number, right? 😉
WHAT TO EXPECT 💘
From 7pm–9pm, Older Men & Younger Women will have exclusive access to the upstairs Parlour & Vault, giving you your own dedicated space to grab a drink, mingle and meet the people you actually came to meet.
At the same time, we’ll be running our Older Women & Younger Men event downstairs in the ground-floor Pawn Shop & Perfumery.
Then, from 9pm, we’ll open things up and bring both events together for one big singles mingle, giving everyone the chance to mix across the groups and keep the night going 👀
If you've never been to Pawn & Co, expect something a little different. Think vintage treasures, rich textures, warm lighting, luxe bars and plenty of conversation-starting curiosities scattered throughout the space.

We’ll also have our Side Quests running through the Thursday app throughout the night — optional interactive prompts designed to break the ice, get you chatting to different people and add a little extra fun to your night. Some may even come with prizes 👀

This is still a classic singles mixer — no speed dating and no awkward structured activities. Just drinks, flirting, conversation, optional icebreakers and a room full of people who are intentionally open to dating outside the usual age bracket.

There is also no cloakroom available at the venue, so we recommend bringing only what you’re happy to keep with you throughout the night.
