Friday, mid-October. Athens has finally cooled down in the evenings, and the city feels different.
You find Fouar in the centre and go up one floor. The street noise stays behind you. Plants above your head, glass roof above them, warm lamps over the long wooden tables. The bar runs down one side with stools waiting for you.
Your welcome drink is included. You take it, choose a spot, and look around the room. 100+ people, all single, all here for the same evening. Nobody has to explain why they came.
