Just a bar, everyone single. Because the world in 2026 is all about meeting IRL, not on dating apps!
On Thursday, October 1st from 7-10PM, Thursday Atlanta is taking over Showdown Social in Alpharetta for a night built around the table. This is a cards lounge with a Game Host running every round, so whether you've played a hundred hands of Spades or you've never held a deck in your life, you're set up to have a good time. Expect Uno, Spades, a blackjack-style showdown called Ace Face, and a full rotation of other Game Host-led favorites, no experience necessary, just show up ready to play. Groups rotate through tables all night, so you'll get real time with a handful of different people instead of being stuck in one seat for three hours.
And when it's not your turn at the tables, the rest of the venue is yours to work with. Spot someone across the room and ask them to join you for a round of darts, or challenge them to a game of pool. Half the fun of a night like this is that there's always a reason to go talk to someone.
