How it works:
Upon arrival: scan the QR at the door and answer a 60-second questionnaire built by Matchbox’s Team of Relationship Scientists and curated by your host.
While you mingle, sip, and flirt, the Matchbox Algorithm quietly works behind the scenes combining relationship science, AI, and nobel prize-winning economics to find your optimal match.
Throughout the night, you’ll receive a few playful clues via SMS or WhatsApp to help you narrow down who your match might be. Each clue brings you closer until...
Tonight you get three matches, revealed LIVE across the evening. Three chances for a conversation to turn into a connection, and maybe something a little more.
The flow:
→ 19:00 — Event begins
→ 20:00 — Questionnaire closes, the Algorithm runs and the 1st group drops
→ 20:20 — 1st match revealed
→ 20:35 — 2nd group drops
→ 20:55 — 2nd match revealed
→ 21:10 — 3rd group drops
→ 21:30 — 3rd match revealed
→ 21:45 — Continue the convo or meet someone new
Eligibility: arrive by 19:50 to receive a match. Matches aren’t guaranteed; if numbers are uneven you may receive a friend match. If this happens, we sincerely apologise and please come chat with your host.
